Stephanie Harrison is the Physiotherapist behind Refine & Reform in Norfolk, specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy. She can be found at ProActive Therapies near Dereham on Tuesdays.
Physiotherapy is an evidence-based profession which promotes recovery from injury, illness, and disability. It considers a ‘whole person’ approach to health and wellbeing, including the condition, the patient’s general lifestyle, and the patients mental well-being. Physio aims to restore movement and functional ability to get you back to your normal activities. Within our assessment, we will diagnose and manage your condition incline with our clinical guidelines.
She specialises in the diagnosis and management of MSK conditions, including sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, nerve pain, orthopaedics and post-surgery, muscular and joint related conditions, and rheumatological conditions. She works closely alongside Norfolk GPs and secondary care providers in her role within the NHS.

Steph has a range of experience and treats:
- Sports injuries
- Acute and chronic pain (including nerve related pain)
- Orthopaedics and post-operative
- Muscular and joint related conditions
- Spinal conditions
- Rheumatological conditions
- She also has some general experience with women’s health including Pre- and post-natal exercise prescription, diastasis recti and returning to sport.
Your Physio appointment will provide you with the opportunity to explain your issue in which she will listen and fully understands what is happening and how it is affecting you. An objective assessment will then be carried out which will physically assess your condition, completing any relevant testing to the joint, muscles, and nerves. Finally, together we will collate this information and diagnose the problem. We’ll then implement a treatment plan that is tailored specifically to you, your problem and your goals.
